As I wander in the soaring darkness of night,
I wonder, why am I in this fight.
The fight inside.
Darkness seems to have taken over my good sight.
Instead of striving hard, am I drowning in ennui.
But, the darkest of nights come with the brightest of stars.
How come have I not yet realized?
Every cloud has a silver lining and every dark night has millions of lights.
Which is seen only by the most determined eyes.
When I see the lights, I realize, the time had fled when I stood still.
And I think again, I have not lost it all yet
So I begin, again, to advance in the night, towards what I had in mind.
Because this darkness is the challenge and dawn is the deadline.
Eventually, the light has to come in. The day has to begin.
What matters is, is it the same day all over again? Or your endurance has won you a day with a sight!
As it was a long but starry night, and I wasn’t just waiting for the dawn to strike.
